5/12/2023 0 Comments Ryan holiday gawker![]() ![]() It would be taking away from the government and giving to the citizens. Imagine if every student in say, Los Angeles suddenly had $29k (estimate of how much is spent per child in the LAUSD) to offer any school that would take them? That is a revolution. This seems to me to be something they could all agree on and could be a real show of force for the importance of fair shot for every student in the US to get a great education. ![]() Imagine how many schools would be open, reopened or added onto? Imagine the billionaires lining up to sponsor schools…celebrities….Imagine the freedom the students in the worst schools would suddenly have?! The wealthiest 10 or 20 people in the USA could bring this about if they pooled their funds and created a non profit that offered to gift the funds for any school that is opened, reopened or added onto in a state that offered full ESA’s with a scale perhaps for more funds the bigger the per student allotment. I agree with Steve Hardy on the educational revolution that would be started with ESA’s or some other transfer of funds from the state and federal government to the citizens of the education money spent. ![]() Did I miss that part? Is it in the book? Brilliant idea and I wonder if it is going on somewhere else right now. I did not hear you discuss the deal terms for the venture. ![]() I ordered the book which is, I think, why Ryan does a podcast in the first place so it worked. ![]() 5/11/2023 0 Comments Tempted Tigress by Jade Lee![]() ![]() ".a marvelous journey for any reader." ~Eye On Romance Definitely one for the keeper shelf." ~NIGHT OWL Romance Lee gets into the heart of the characters making them emotionally appealing. a very different but extremely enjoyable story." ~ Romantic Times Unusual, very sensual and yet emotionally sweet. I shouldn’t want to see it discarded entirely. There has been some good in what you’ve done. This book can be read alone but it wraps up the entire series so well that a reader will best enjoy it by having read the output books. Unraveled (Turner, 3) Author:Courtney Milan. She is also incredible protective which makes her a good match for Smite –even if he would have disagreed with that initially. Miranda is sharp tongues and clever but also loving and caring and vulnerable. ![]() The love story between Smite and Amanda was sweeter than I expected because Smite is as well. For example, when Miranda is being blackmailed by the villain, she doesn’t go of to deal with it alone but rather goes to Smite which is a sense of logic that often eludes characters in fiction. Milan had done an incredible job in upending the expectations in her story. So starts this romance between a man who has kept himself together through riding rigid rules and a woman who has spent much of her life bending rules.
